The French Pattern (also known as the Versailles Pattern, Ashlar Pattern, or Roman Pattern) is a Modular interlocking pattern that is reminiscent of a stone floor from the historic European palaces. French Pattern provides one of the most distinctive floor looks, which is used for both indoor and outdoor flooring.

The French Pattern is made up of four different-sized stones in travertine or marble. The pattern is usually broken down into four 8×8 pieces, two 8×16 pieces, four 16×16 pieces, and two 16×24 pieces.
