Description

Sandstone stones have a rough texture due to their sandy nature and due to the presence of clay minerals, they do not have good polishing ability but they are used in another processing method (honed, bush hammer…)

Structure

Sandstone is a form of lime sedimentation stone made up of very small mineral particles (about 0.0625 to 2mm). Most of the sandstones are made from quartz and feldspar and were made during the time due to the sedimentation of mineral materials in rivers and sea and under the pressure.

Specification

Sandstone does not adhere well to other building materials; therefore, before installation, the stone must be restrained with a Shelf angle.
