Description

Limestone stones are usually light and whitish, with a uniform appearance. Limestone is ideally suited for use in dry areas, as well as interior facades and walls.

Limestone is a member of both sedimentary and calcareous stone. The formation time of this stone is shorter than other sedimentary stones, which is why it is called the youngest sedimentary stone.

Structure

Limestone is a sedimentary stone mainly consisting of Calcite. Limestone has a very fine-grained surface texture, does not show much crystalline structure.

Specification

Due to having high lime within themselves, they have a high capability of water absorption. This type of stone has low durability against erosion, therefore limestone is suitable for places far from moisture and erosion.
